Unexpected Things Bring Unexpected Changes

While Odin and I were going to run a Core and Hardcore division within the clan, the unexpected and surprising departure of II Macloud II (who was slated to run [ptH Core] has left us kind of scrambling for answers and where we're going with this clan. So based on the fact that we've already cemented a strong core of five players for hardcore and after quite a bit of talking it over and weighing our options Odin and I have decided to take the clan into hardcore only. I do sincerely apologize if this kind of leaves any of you out in the cold but it seems after a few days of only playing hardcore.. it's where our hearts are, where we have the most fun as a group and play together the best. I encourage all of you to at least give it a shot because we don't want to lose any members, especially those of you that have been around since near the start... but if you choose to sever your ties here, there are no hard feelings and you will be free to return in the future.

So if you could please leave your post here stating whether you want to give hardcore a shot or not I would greatly appreciate it. Many things are not mandatory here at [ptH] but if there is no response by Sat the 17th, it will be assumed that you opted out and will be removed from the clan. Thank you for your time and I apologize for any inconvenience.

To be honest I've never played any hardcore games. But I'll give it a go with you guys, could be fun..

You just have to learn to have patience and think more before you do things. If you go rushing around in hardcore like a lot of us do in core you're going get killed 50 times. Generally in hardcore who ever aims faster and is more accurate wins.

even though i feel like camping in hardcore is much more common

One question though, is our gamebattles roster for hardcore or core? I think gamebattles would be more fun if its core tbh but thats my opinion

I couldnt decide if i wanted to do core or hardcore so this makes my decision alot easier, hardcore it is.

The 4v4 team is going to be in a hardcore ladder. Huck and Mydral are running a 2v2 Core EU ladder.

They set up exactly the same as core games, just under hardcore mode. Greater bullet damage, no radar, ect.

Silencers FTW haha.. and hardline is pretty good too with radar, airdrop, pred. haha Andrew tore it up today with hardline. just make sure someone on your team has a stinger or something first

In GB their are no killstreaks so hardline and stingers are worthless lol

yea they are worthless in gb but in public play its way worth it haha

In HC GameBattles I would say sleight of hand pro (because that extra half a second on your ADS makes a difference), Lightweight Pro (For the faster aiming out of a sprint) and Ninja Pro for the quiet footsteps and anti HBS. I think that's what I'm going to run at least.

Agreed. sounds like a pretty solid setup for GB

I would like to kind of move most of our game focus towards Search and Destroy now. I know we all play hardcore HQ for fun and it's good to rack up a ton of kills, but considering it's not an MLG variant game type... I would like to focus a lot of our energy on getting good at search and learning the search maps. So I encourage all of you to play a little bit of Hardcore Search and when I send out these invites this is what we'll be focusing on. I think a dominating Search team can be one of the most impressive to come across. This is where I want to be.
