care package glitch

was playing a few matches yesterday and got into a lobby where this one guy was just running around with his care package flair in hand and knifeing everyone. I like to think that I have fairly good awareness on maps but this guy would come out of nowwhere and knife me!! got so annoyed with him I filed a complaint! maybe that'll fix his ass? lol

Yea man its insane, i was playing a couple private matches with my kids and i tried this, i kept missing because u run so fast lol. It does get annoying when people use this in online play

Yeah I actually ran into a guy doing this yesterday. He had the Marathon, Lightweight, Commando Pro set up and was running around with the smoke canister knifing the hell out of everyone. By the time you saw him it was already too late. It's all good though because I caught him a few times with a quick scope from my WA2000. Ha ha. It's still not as annoying as the Models though. Ha.

Yeah the models are definatly more annoying than the care package thing. Especialy playing Dom on Skidrow.. trying to get B flag is pretty much suicide. Everyone and there brothers up there with akimbo Models!! lol TERRIBLE

Ironically enough... I've noticed the best way to counter the Akimbo Models... or now that everyone is using the Akimbo Rangers is the Marathon, Lightwieght, Commando Pro setup. Ha ha.

I was in a match with one of the run n' knife guys so next round I made the same class and just chased him around the map the whole game. Got him 17 times and he got me 4. He quit doing it after that.

yah, i used to think riot shields were annoying until a ton of people started running around with knifes, I hate it but the worst part is that the people doing the knifing are having pretty good results.

Yeah one of my friends did the care package, knife glitch thing just for the hell of it to see what the big deal was... and yeah, he went like 34-8. It's pretty ridiculous. Ha.

I remember the good days when getting a knife kill streak was a big deal. I once got an 11 kill streak with my knife on COD4. Ha ha.

it dosnt bother me if they are legitly doing it ex. tactical knife marathon lightweight and commando but when people crouch run (looks like running on fours) is what really ticks me off.

It's all apart of the game, so it really doesn't bother me. I have nothing to complain about MW2 now they finally got rid of those javelin and infinite ammo glitches.

I just found out about the infinite ammo glitch today and was looking forward to trying it out, i guess not any more. As for the knifing people, its just a part of the game i have to get over.

scavenger is just as good as infinite ammo. but takes up the best perk slot.

man I love scavenger. More grenades =more ways to keep ur streak alive. I use to use bling until I made myself get used to the iron sights. Now I can't shoot worth of crap with the rds or holo. Lol

naw man its all good, I didnt know what that bar did either.. now I do! lol

What I was saying is that I dont mind getting knifed by a knife class, because its been made possible as a setup in the game.. just means I gotta keep my head on a swivel! But when players use the care package glitch to run even faster than I got a problem with that!

Another thing you can do for unlimited ammo is run whatever you like as a primary weapon and run One Man Army with it.. when you run low on ammo just hit Y and then choose you current class to replenish ammo and grenades!! works like a charn and its no a glitch!!

haha i got mad at a guy who was running and knifing so i made one later on... now whenever i am doing bad i just switch to him lol mostly use it for those guys with the models.

lol i have to admit i used to use this in free for all if i was having a really bad game ,which rarely happens, because its funny to hear their reactions when they get killed by some maniac running around with a knife. xD me and my friends actually call it the monkey glitch because you look like a monkey when your running around.

now i just use a tac knife with marathon, lightweight, ninja/commando for knifing

im getting really sick of hearing emergency care package none stop and getting torn up continuously by it.

i agree. its been alot day playing alone, (i was only able to play this morning and none of the clan/friends were on) and it killed my kd ratio... I really hope IW fixes it soon.....

Yeah! As far as I know the patch w/ the fixes is still in the hands of Microsoft for testing. Just wish they would hurry it up.

When I play I think Im going to run nothing but a Cold-Blooded class w/ a silenced Tar-21 and Stingers. Also w/ Scavenger Pro and Ninja. Just shoot that shit down!!

Apparently the glitch has already been replicated post patch on PS3 so not looking too good. It's just getting annoying having to run cold blooded in every game!

Totally! I hear ya. Its like we the players are doing IW's beta testing for them. This game is falling apart at the seams! It feels incomplete to me. Im kind looking forward to Treyarch's new one. haha.

i know! i have cold blooded on one of my guys and it gets really annoying having to always change to him all the time. xbox needs to hurry it up with the testing because this is getting really stupid.
