new map pack fail

This afternoon I finally got a chance to get back on live, brother was out so hooked up his xbox in the front room (he doesn't have live so no easy way to get it online), dismantled the router set up and managed to get it connected to the xbox using a couple of just too short ethernet cables with the router suspended in mid air in the corridor lol.

Buy some more m$ points, buy the mappack, go to download it and it says it's linked to another console. Talk to microsoft who say it's linked to the console not the live account. So no chance to try the new maps. Get online for one time in 2 weeks and no ones on mw2. Once I do get on mw2 I suck since I'm so rusty, without the headset or a decent screen. Fail all round lol.. Gaming will be easier once I get home! /rant

Cheers will give that a go. Not really surprised that they didn't tell me, the call centres foreign, could barely understand the guy's strong accent - although it was an 0800 number which is something I guess.

How are the hard core games going? Guessing you guys run UAV a lot more so you can get the radar up? I guess communications a lot more important without the map as well?
