scratched disc

whilst ive got no internet ive been playing MW2/WAW/FFXIII etc's storymodes.. my xbox got knocked over today with the MW2 disc in -.- the most important one to me and it would be the one to get scratched

so im taking it to gamestation tomorrow to get it cleaned, is there anything else i can do or do i just pray that fixes it?

i could afford another but id really rather not have to buy it!

that sucks bro! Yea all i can think of would be to have someone clean it for you... hopefully it fixes it!

The other thing you can try that's worked for me before is borrowing a disc from someone and installing to the hard drive, then hopefully the scratched disc will be enough to start it.

in some cases taking a lighter the the bottom of the disc works. but if you haven't done it b4 i would avoid doing on a 60 dollar game lol.

good one. but before, It comes with a "Do not attempt when drunk" warning.

hmm well it just managed to get to where it started loading my campaign that was saved before saying disc unreadable.. so the scratches cant be too bad! i live in hope!

didnt work so it was a choice between sending to activision for 15 pounds for a new one, or buying one for 25 pounds so i just bought a new one :O (was on sale)

isnt worth the time/hassle for the other option imo.. plus mum paid for most xD
