Weapon issues.

Hey guys. I JUST (10 minutes ago) prestiged, and following my plan to get every title and emblem, i am trying to chose a new assault rifle to fully max.

I am chosing between the Famas or the M4A1.

Also, what do you guys use for your yellow perk?

Picking between them is hard so i tend to cycle through sitrep, last stand, ninja, and steady aim.

famas 4 sho. range is redonc on it, was the first gun i used and got over 1k kills with it then havnt used it since. but as third perk, last stand is lame, steady aim is pointless for a famas, sitrep is pretty decent if you dont pay attention to the ground and ninja is the best for me. so sitrep if u dont pay attenion to details and ninja for the silent footsteps b/c alot of people dont use heartbeat sensors.

Famas, and why steady aim for an AR? Go for ninja its best hands down

I'm a big fan of the M4A1, probably my best AR. I got my thousand kills and Weapon Mastery title for it in no time. If you can control the recoil when shooting at long range targets it's the best. I just prefer it over the Famas because it has better close range capabilities since it's full auto.

As for your third perk, I'd say Ninja Pro all the way.

I voted m4, only because I haven't liked the 3shot guns since early in my 1st prestige. Nothing against them but I just haven't gotten round to getting used to them again. Love the FAL though, but I only use that when I'm lagfree.

M4 in my opinion isn't quite as good as the ACR, which it's most similar to though. Fires a little faster and has a little more recoil and exactly the same damage (which is less than the other ARs). I used m4 until I got the scar on this prestige (which is really early), then switched to tar-21 which is my favourite outside of the AK. But it doesn't matter all the ARs do the job pretty much as well as each other ignoring the F2000 which is practically a submachine gun..

Edit - and for the third perk it's definitely ninja. Always aware of how much noise I make without it! I think early on you have a choice between commando and steady aim if I remember right? That's a tossup, I'd just try to get them both to pro to level up quick..

I'm going to master every single weapon and do every challenge at 10 prestige level 70, because i'm OCD like that.

Just hard chosing the order to do them in. Later unlocks require more time at 70 then early ones.

ACR and AK are half done.

I seem to be having a little bit of a difficult time using the Famas.

Since i'm not a frequent burst-fire user, any tips and tricks you could offer would be very helpful

stopping power if you play core one pull of the trigger to the upper half of body and they are dead.

I seem to have issues hitting them in the first place.

I can't seem to react faster then the other guy, and the Famas can't aim for shit when you are being hit.

Then, when i do hit,only 2 bullets hit and he's still alive.

You really have to get used to a 3 Round-Burst if you've never used one, or you dont heavily use one. Just make sure you hit them is my advice, it will almost all the time kill/severely injure them with stopping power.
